Our Process
Meet and Greet
After you have initiated contact with Precision Basements & Remodeling (Precision) we will schedule an onsite visit to discuss your project needs and ideas. We are available at your convenience seven days per week and after normal business hours. At this meeting we will take detailed notes and measurements in order to put together a bid specific to your request. Additionally, we will aid with recommendations and options that are appropriate for your budget.
Bid Review Meeting
Precision will contact you within 2-3 day after the initial meet and greet meeting. At this meeting we will review the bid and rough plans for your project. We will answer any questions you may have, discuss further ideas and make necessary revisions. Depending on your needs, we will adjust the bid/plans until you are satisfied. The bid review meeting can repeat several times to ensure everyone has the same expectations before the project begins. We provide extremely accurate bids so everyone is aware of all expectations before the project begins so there are no unexpected changes. Lastly, we will draft a final plan.
Contract
After you have approved the final bid/plans we will proceed with signing a contract. This will trigger the permitting process and start of construction. Here we will discuss the guaranteed construction schedule, address any deadlines you may have and explain the construction expectations as far as home access, cleanliness, etc. We prefer a down payment of one third but are willing to work you regarding progress payments.
Construction Start
A permit will be issued, material will be delivered and your project will start immediately!! Precision will coordinate our trade partners’ schedules for a seamless construction process from start to finish. Many of our trade partners are available to work nights and weekends to expedite the schedule. Construction goes very quickly. Your involvement in color and material selections put the finishing touches on the project. You have the option of browsing our showrooms or we can bring color samples to you.
Project Presentation
At Precision we pride ourselves on listening to your needs and delivering a project according to your expectations as specified in the plan. After the final clean, Precision will present your project and will have addressed all prior concerns. Congratulations and we hope you enjoy your newly remodeled space!
